Strategic Drivers and Sustainability of Health Faith-Based Organisations in Nairobi County, Kenya
Abstract
This study sought to establish the influence of strategic drivers on the sustainability of health faith-based organizations in Nairobi City County, Kenya. The study specifically sought to assess the influence of innovation and organization agility on organizational sustainability of health faith-based organizations in Nairobi County, Kenya. Theoretical foundation of the study was based on innovation theory and dynamic capabilities theory. The study employed a descriptive research design and targeted a population of 65 health faith-based organizations. A structured questionnaire was employed to gather data. A pilot study was conducted to ensure reliability and validity of the instruments. Data was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics through Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS Version 26). The study was guided by a multiple linear regression model to assess the relationship between strategic drivers and organizational sustainability. Results were presented using tables, graphs, and charts. The study concludes that innovation has a positive and significant effect on organizational sustainability of health faith-based organisations in Nairobi County, Kenya. The study also concludes that organizational agility has a positive and significant effect on organizational sustainability of health faith-based organizations in Nairobi County, Kenya. The study recommends that health faith-based organizations in Kenya should enhance organizational agility by establishing flexible structures and responsive decision-making processes that enable rapid adaptation to changing healthcare needs.
